Aluminum Profile "S1" is a surface mounted aluminum housing for LED strips that comes with a rounded, white lens. It features a unique track mounting system which allows you to install the profile, conceal wire, and snap it into place with no visible mounting hardware. Aluminum Profile "S1" can accommodate any high-output LED strip up to 0.66 Inch (16.8mm) wide, and properly disperse heat from the strips to maximize their lifetime. The compact and slim design of "S1" makes it an ideal solution for task, shelf, and high-output cabinet lighting applications. Applications

Aluminum profile "S1" can be surface mounted easily and conveniently with the included mounting track. Its slim and compact design allows one to achieve evenly diffused and modern high-output lighting, making it perfect for use in showrooms, retail spaces, kitchens, trade shows and any creative lighting solutions one can think of! Although intended mainly for indoor use, aluminum channels protect LED strips from the elements, making them suitable for outdoor applications giving one maximum versatility.

Installation

Install in minutes with easy mounting track. Simply screw the mounting track into your desired surface, and snap your channel into place. Thin wire can be concealed in mounting track for clean installation.

Cutting

To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
