/ Description
Aluminum Profile "N" is designed for interior floor recessed lighting. It features a heavy-duty, UV resistant poly-carbonate lens that can be stepped on or even driven over. It has a slim and low-profile design allowing it to be compatible with most floor types. The heavy duty aluminum extruded channel maximizes the lifetime of your LEDs by extracting excess heat. Aluminum Profile "N" can accommodate any waterproof or non-waterproof LED strip up to 11.9mm (0.47"). Aluminum Profile "N" is sold in 6.5ft (78") sections as a completed kit including one pair of end-caps and one heavy-duty frosted poly-carbonate lens/diffuser. View Spec Sheet Here!

Applications
Aluminum Profile "N" can be used to recess lighting in floors. It can be used in indoor OR outdoor environments to create beautiful recessed linear lighting in the ground. Use waterproof LEDs wherever you will be recessing lighting in the floor. For best results seal fixture with silicone.
Installation
Create cavity for recessed aluminum profile. Install Aluminum Profile "N" and secure using silicone adhesive. Once Aluminum profile is installed, install waterproof LED strips. For maximum waterproofing seal lens using Dow Corning 3145 silicone.
Cutting
To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
