Aluminum Profile "P6" 94" Suspension High Output Light Fixture Capable

A perfect solution for residential, office, or retail lighting applications, Aluminum Profile "P6" creates a stunning 2" wide aperture of light which can either be suspended from the ceiling or surface mounted. Aluminum Profile "P6" can accommodate up to two rows of high-output LED strips, with an inner dimension of 1.53 Inch (38.8mm) wide and is suitable for general lighting applications. Extruded from high-quality aluminum, this extrusion acts as a heat-sink by drawing out the heat generated by your high-output strip lighting. For dot-free, evenly diffused lighting, install with (2) rows of our high-density DOTLESS LED strips. Aluminum Profile “P6” is conveniently sold in 8ft lengths as a completed kit including a pair of end-caps, suspension kits, and one premium poly carbonate frosted lens (diffuser). Applications

Aluminum profile "P6" can be surface mounted, as well as suspended. It's capacity to hold (2) rows of high-output LED strips makes it suitable for residential, commercial, or retail modern lighting applications. It's 2 Inch wide design makes it an attractive option in a wide variety of spaces.

Installation

With aluminum profile "P6", one has the option of using a suspension kit, or screwing directly into the desired surface.

Mounting Method #1 (Use of Suspension Kit)

Install in minutes with our included suspension kit. Simply screw the anchor into your desired surface, install the included aircraft cable and cut to your desired length. Before Installing the closed end-cap onto light fixture, slide cable-grip retaining screws into the rear channel of the aluminum housing. Insert End-Cap, and tighten cable-gripper onto light fixture. Aircraft cable can now be pulled into the cable-grip and adjusted to desired suspension height.

Mounting Method #2 (Screw into Surface)
Drill hole specific to your mounting screw diameter into aluminum housing. Counter-sink the hole so a flat-head screw can sit flush with the housing. Install LED Strip over screw.

Cutting

To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
