Aluminum channel "S92" can be recessed in almost any surface, and can accommodate any LED strip up to 0.39 Inch (10.0mm) wide, and properly disperse heat from the strip while protecting it from the elements. At just over 1/2 Inch of depth, the compact design allows one to seamlessly recess the channel in almost any surface, while achieving evenly diffused, indirect lighting that can be used in a number of applications. Applications

Aluminum profile "S92" is a compact aluminum extrusion designed specifically for indirect recessed lighting in areas such as handrails, that allows one to achieve evenly diffused and DOTLESS lighting, while adding a modern decorative finish to your projects. The compact design of this channel makes it easy to recess in most surfaces that have a thickness of more than just 1/2 Inch, making it a perfect solution for illuminating handrails in places such as homes, restaurants, nightclubs, and any other applications one can think of! Although intended mainly for indoor use, aluminum channels protect LED strips from the elements, making them suitable for outdoor applications giving one even more options for lighting solutions.

Installation

With Aluminum profile "S92", one must first create a groove or cavity in the desired mounting surface.
After creating groove, clean the mounting surface of dust and residue to ensure that adhesive sticks properly. Apply all purpose caulking, and hold the fixture into the groove until adhesive dries.

Cutting

To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
