In the serene landscapes of a Minnesota Lake House, a challenge beckoned that would redefine the limits of backlighting. Envision uniquely curved bartops, exuding sophistication and charm. These weren't just any surfaces; these were statements crafted to perfection.

The handiwork of JD Woodcraft from Lakeville, Minnesota ensured millwork precision, creating a tailored 2-inch deep cavity in the cabinets. Their purpose? To cradle and mask the heartbeat of our project: our custom LED panels. These panels were entrusted with the role of illuminating an exquisite etched glass crafted by the artisans at GlassArt, Minneapolis.

Tradition dictates a 4-6 inch air gap for backlighting frosted glass. But with our 5/8 inch thick RGB LED Panels , we were venturing into uncharted territories with a mere 1.375 inch clearance. The vast, intricate curves demanded an unconventional approach to piecing the panels together.

Yet, through rigorous iterations and mockups, a solution emerged. A bespoke diffusion system ensured seamless, even lighting within the confined space between the custom LED panels and the frosted glass. Underpinned by DMX control and smoothly integrated into a home automation system, this project became a luminous symphony.

The finishing touch? Norske Electric, renowned for their electrical expertise, orchestrated the installation of our LED Panel system. At GlowbackLED, challenges are not barriers; they're opportunities to illuminate beyond the ordinary.
