For simple yet modern architectural designs where high-output, surface mounted lighting is desired, Aluminum Profile "O4" is a perfect solution. Although compact, aluminum channel "O4" can accommodate high-output LED strips up to 0.80 Inch (20.3mm) wide, and properly dissipate heat from the strips as well as protect them from the elements, allowing them to perform to their fullest life capacity. Applications

Aluminum channel "O4" is a compact, low-profile aluminum profile with the capacity to hold high-output LED lighting. Use for task-lighting, shelf-lighting, shop-lighting, and more. Although intended primarily for indoor use, aluminum profile "O4" protects LED strips from the elements, making them suitable for outdoor applications giving one maximum versatility when using their high-output LED tape. For maximum waterproofing, use with waterproof, outdoor rated LED strips.

Installation

Install in minutes with easy snap-and-go clips. Aluminum housing "O4" comes with (3) mounting clips. Simply install clips onto your desired surface with screws and quickly snap your LED aluminum housing into place.

Cutting

To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
