Aluminum Profile ''J2'' 78in For High output

Aluminum Profile "J2" is our slimmest and most compact aluminum extrusion for high-output LED strips. It features a powerful, heat-dissipating design, allowing it to safely house LED strips up to 6 Watts/ft without overheating and diminishing the lifetime of the LEDs. Aluminum Profile "J2" is a surface mounted aluminum housing for LED tape and is easily installed with clips. Aluminum Profile "J2" can accommodate any high-output LED strip up to 13.2mm (0.52") wide. Aluminum Profile "J2" is sold in 6.5ft (78") lengths and comes as a completed kit with one pair of endcaps, mounting clips, and your choice of a semi-clear or frosted diffuser (lens). Applications

Aluminum Profile "J2" is primarily used in task lighting applications or high-output cove lighting applications. Its compact, high heat dissipating design makes it extremely popular in retail environments where powerful light is needed. When used in outdoor environments, Aluminum Profile "J2" provides added waterproofing to wet-rated LEDs.

Installation

Install in minutes with easy snap-and-go clips. Aluminum housing "J2" comes with (3) mounting clips. Simply install clips onto your desired surface with screws and quickly snap your LED aluminum housing into place.

Cutting

To cut your aluminum profiles and make your lighting fixtures a custom length, simply snap the lens onto the profile, and place the channel onto a miter saw with the lens facing down. By doing this you can easily cut both the channel and lens to your desired length at the same time. We recommend using a NEW fine tooth blade to cut your aluminum channels for LED strips. The diffuser/lens is fragile and will easily break with an old blade. The easiest way to avoid breaking a lens or diffuser is to lower the saw blade slowly while cutting.
